What a great interview with return guest Kristina with the
prelaunch of her next book becoming flawsome. We began with
the myth that if I love myself unconditionally I won't become
better. Yet by the end of the interview she mentioned how the Dali
Lama told her you can't help anyone unless you're happy.
Happiness and success are different according to Kristina.
She had it all but wasn't happy, she then asked what's wrong with
me yet shifted from judgment into more curious questions around
self-love and happiness. In a society where martyrdom is
glorified... having our personal goals include happiness at the
top, is pretty rare. We shared how at some point we just need
to stop running not just towards More success, but stop running
away from ourselves, to slow down, be brave and face our
dragons. I call that cultivating a solid intimate
relationship with ourselves. Vulnerability is brave yet the key to
connection.
